WE STARTED OUR CAREERS IN RESTRUCTURED HOSPITALS. While we gained considerable experience, skills and knowledge during our foundational years at restructured hospitals like Singapore General Hospital and Alexandra Hospital, there remained a certain discontent in our hearts. Pain and dysfunction can often be addressed quickly if people seek early physiotherapy intervention. However, what we were witnessing at these hospitals was a great number of patients who sought delayed medical help. This made us wonder if more could be done.
EARLY PHYSIOTHERAPY INTERVENTION GOES A LONG WAY TOWARDS INJURY PREVENTION AND REDUCING INJURY BURDEN.
OUR DISCONTENT LED US TO MOVE INTO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. We believe that providing care in the local community will allow people who need help to have better access to a physiotherapist. At the same time, being in the community gives us a greater opportunity to raise public awareness about the benefits of having early physiotherapy intervention. We firmly believe that early physiotherapy intervention goes a long way towards injury prevention and reducing injury burden. With this conviction, we decided to embark on Exodus Physiotherapy.
WE SAW THE IMPORTANCE OF GOING INTO THE COMMUNITY.
